Indago is a native macOS application. Install it, point it at the folders you already work with, and ask. Menu-bar surface, query window, scan panel, findings table, agent bridges — all on your machine.

First-run picks the folders you actually work in. Indago detects the workspace type (repo / clinical / matter / drafting) and pre-tunes the ranker. Index is live in seconds; full library in minutes.
Indago lives in the menu bar — global hotkey, ranked results in a floating panel, no Dock icon required. Open from any application; the answer carries its source.
The query window mirrors the website's table aesthetic: tabular numerals, mono labels, ranked rows with rank · body · source · confidence. Every result row is copy-paste-with-citation.
The scan panel renders the unified findings table: filter by family (security · dead-code · complexity · contradictions · novelty · …), sort by tier, dismiss / propose-fix / fix / reopen per finding, export SARIF / PRISMA / signed PDF.
The graph canvas shows what the engine connects. Mission node in the centre, the nine discovery primitives radiating out, findings hanging off each. Click an edge to see why two things were linked.
Bridges page wires Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex and Cursor to the local Indago daemon. Conversation sync hooks install themselves; past sessions become a searchable library. The Claude Code compaction hook indexes the full transcript before truncation — nothing lost in /compact.
Render the same findings table to a native template: anspruchskarte, tm-clearance-chart, filing-package, prisma, claims-ledger, validation-binder, decision-memo, onboarding-brief, qa-with-citations, persona-opportunity-brief, watchlist-alert, bridge-card and more. Every render is journaled with a SHA-256 of the typed payload and the rendered HTML. indago_journal(op=verify) walks the chain and returns the head hash. Re-run the same query in 6 months — identical pack, identical hash.
