This is the complete data-protection statement and legal notice for indago.one. Indago is a product of Vectorio GmbH, Berlin. Indago itself is local-first: it runs entirely on your device, and the corpus you index never leaves your machine. This notice governs the website.

The product processes nothing for us.
Indago is engineered so that there is no server-side processing of your content. The application, its daemon and its index run on your own machine.
- Your corpus stays local. The files, code and conversations you index are never transmitted to Vectorio or to any third party.
- No accounts required to run. The free Core ships and runs without a sign-up.
- Telemetry is opt-in and aggregate-only. If you enable it, it carries no document content and no personally identifiable data.
Website server log files.
When you visit indago.one, the hosting provider automatically collects information your browser transmits, in server log files:
- Browser type and version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Hostname of the accessing device
- Time of the server request
This data cannot be attributed to specific individuals and is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in the secure, stable operation of the website. Logs are retained only as long as necessary for security and then deleted.
Cookies.
This site uses cookies only where technically necessary. We use no third-party analytics, no advertising tags and no tracking cookies.
You can configure your browser to be informed about cookies, to allow them only in individual cases, to exclude their acceptance generally, and to delete cookies automatically when closing the browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.
Contact requests & the waitlist.
If you email us or join the waitlist, the details you provide are stored so we can process your request.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to a contract) and/or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering enquiries). We reply, then archive. We never sell, share, or train models on your message. Data is deleted once no longer required and where no statutory retention obligation applies.
Your rights under GDPR.
You have the right, free of charge, to information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of processing.
- Access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21).
- Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.
